Projects
X Fact-Checker (EN / DE)
AI-powered Chrome extension for real-time credibility analysis of social media content. Filling the void left by the removal of community notes.
In a time when misinformation and manipulation are increasingly widespread on social media, providing users with reliable credibility checks is more important than ever. Therefore I developed a Chrome Extension that integrates with Twitter to assess a post’s credibility and provide verifiable references.
- In-browser ONNX/WASM ML model predicts a post’s “Verifiability Score” (English or German), highlighting posts likely to be checkable.
- Python Flask Backend Server performs fact-checking on demand via structured output using Google Gemini API and live search.
- Full-stack: Data generation, cleaning and processing, model training and export, frontend extension, RESTful backend API, dockerized deployment on production server.

Master's Thesis: LLM-based Assistant for Non-Standard In-Flight Emergencies
(In cooperation with a leading aerospace company)
Development and testing of a dynamic decision support system to assist pilots in unforeseen emergency situations by generating context-adaptive instructions from flight manuals.
- Document processing: Implementation of efficient indexing and semantic search in flight manuals
- Assistance system: Development of an LLM-based agent using a RAG architecture
- Evaluation: Planning and conducting an evaluation study with Boeing 777 pilots
- Merit Award: Received a Boeing Merit Award for outstanding achievements
